Odyssey Controls, Inc. is an innovative, specialized company that assists its customers in all phases of automation system designs and project controls. From full system design packages to project management of major facility improvements/new builds, we strive to implement highly efficient automated control systems.

Odyssey Controls, Inc. is well equipped to handle the full scope of customer project requirements, ranging from small stand-alone controllers to a networked control system with thousands of devices. Combining the latest technology in control system platforms with our experience across multiple manufacturing processes, facility equipment, and motion controlled systems allows us to provide our clients with the right solutions to make their projects successful.

The Odyssey team exhibits a broad range of expertise in project management, design, specification, programming, calibration services, troubleshooting, and custom control panel manufacturing. This allows for a diverse product and service portfolio, with an emphasis on complete turnkey control systems.


History/Timeline

In 1991, Daniel Harmon Sr. founded HV&L Industries, Inc., which provided engineering and turnkey control systems for approximately 13 years. During this time, sons Daniel Harmon Jr. and Thomas Harmon gained valuable experience working on control system designs, configurations, and installations. This experience was invaluable and set the foundation for the formation and growth of Odyssey Controls, Inc.

In 2004, Daniel Harmon Jr. founded Odyssey Controls, Inc. and serves as company President, guiding the strategic planning and operations, as well as maintaining hands-on project director duties.

Thomas Harmon serves as the company Vice-President and Chief Project Manager, assisting with Odyssey Controls strategic goals, as well as managing critical projects for the company.

Daniel Harmon Sr. remains with Odyssey Controls as a Senior Controls Engineer, providing controls expertise on a wide-range of applications, and continuing his 30+ year career in the industry.
