The water treatment system for this community serves approximately 27,000 citizens, as well as additional water requirements for a significant business population and a state correctional facility. Management of this system and delivery of safe drinking water to its residents is of primary importance to the city.
Odyssey Controls was tasked with handling numerous upgrades to the monitoring and controls of the intake system, including reservoir level monitoring/alarm, ultra-sonic flow monitoring, filtration, pumping, pressure and discharge. Additionally, Odyssey Controls helped the customer to effectively tie together remote communications between the inputs from these physically disparate systems, to allow operators to effectively manage the performance of the entire system.
